Fashion & Politics: Men wear clothes too

Ja inderdaad, mannen dragen ook kleren en daar staat Pinterest vol van. Dus voor al diegenen van het mannelijke geslacht die stiekem - of niet stiekem - deze blog lezen: je bent niet alleen. De look die het meest lijkt te scoren, of waar je alvast niet naast kunt kijken is de nonchalante, straight forward look. Deze winter vertaalt zich dat in een jeans, sweater en een stevig paar boots.

Yes indeed, men wear clothes too and Pinterest is filled with it. So for all of you guys who secretly - or not secretly - read this blog: you're not alone. The look that pops up most often, at least on the Internet, is a kind of careless, straight forward look. A pair of jeans, cosy sweater and a solid pair of boots do the job.

Ook het meer afgeborstelde type, meestal paraderend in slim fit maatpak - of toch zeker een blazer - blijft scoren. Wellicht omdat ze de hormonen van menig vrouw - en man - op hol doen slaan.

The more polished kind of guy, think a clean-cut suit - or a blazer at least - is doing well too. Probably because the hormones of innumerable women (and men) go nuts with the thought of a man in a suit.

Toch, heel wat mannen hebben een hekel aan de winkelstraten en tijdens de eindejaarsperiode is dat zeker het geval. Gelukkig zijn ook de mannelijke webshops wijdverspreid. Mijn favorieten als ik een cadeautje zoek voor de boyfriend (of vader, natuurlijk).

Though, a lot of men hate wandering the shopping streets and they do so even more during Christmas season. Luckily there are lots of webshops with a 'men only' corner. These are my favorites while looking for a gift for the boyfriend (or father, of course).
